Outing Description: Visit three downtown historic churches. We’ll visit the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, then we’ll walk two blocks up to Christ Episcopal 18 W Wright Street. St. Joseph Catholic Church at 140 W Government St is a bit further so you have an option to walk or drive.
I’m hoping we’ll be free to go inside and have a guide to point out historical and photographic aspects of the building. Otherwise we will photograph the exterior architectural elements.
If you will be using flash inside the churches (not yet approved) please be considerate of other photographers and refrain from shooting with flash when they are present.

Where (meet up?): Meet on the sidewalk in front of Basilica of St. Michael, 19 N Palafox.
Cost: $0
Equipment:
Musts: camera, lens (tele & wide…all size will be good), memory cards, extra batteries Know your camera and how to adjust your ISO, aperture and shutter speed easily.
Optional: Tripod for slow shutterspeed shooting, remote shutter release or know how to use 2 sec delay if your camera has it.
What else to bring:
Food/Drink: If you’d like, we can have lunch downtown together after the shoot.
Attire: Respectful attire for being in a church.
