Bobbie currently lives in Sun City Center. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.A. in Education and taught for 38 years. She returned to her studies and received her Master’s degree in Elementary Education during her tenure.
Since she enjoyed taking photos of her children and grandchildren, after retiring from teaching in 2009 she decided to learn more about photography. She is currently learning about studio photography. She has also convinced her granddaughter to sit for some photography sessions.
She earned her Judging Certification from the Florida Camera Club Council and is an F3C Board Member as the Awards Chair.
Bobbie enjoys landscape photography and traveling on photo workshops. She feels that photography workshops get participants to the best spots at the best time of the day, which is especially helpful when one doesn't know the area.
