Come join us to welcome and meet Arthur J. Davis who is a nature and wildlife photographer. Art, from Bay Minette, AL, is an award winning photographer who focuses in landscape, wildlife, plants, and macro genres. He is self taught and engages in numerous local and regional photography experiences. His knowledge and experience awarded him first place winnings in:
- The 29th Power of Photography® Show 2022 in the “art & abstract” category.
- Outdoor Alabama Annual Photo Contest for 2021 and 2022 in “shoots and roots” and “scenic” catagories.
- Story County (Iowa) Conservation Annual Photo Contest for 2022 in “connecting people and recreation” category
- Alabama Living Magazine Annual Photo Contest for 2022 in the “animals” Category.
- South Alabama Land Trust Annual Photo Contest for 2022 in the “habitat” category
Art was born in Tuskegee, AL and relocated to Bay Minette, AL after retiring from the USDA National Veterinary Services Laboratories in Ames, Iowa in 2015. He is married and has four adult sons.
